Cowardly Escape. The goblin veteran can use a single bonus action to both Disengage and Dash.

Superior Critical. The goblin veteran scores critical hits on a weapon attack roll of 18-20.

Killing Method. The goblin veteran is extremely adept at a specific style of fighting. Choose one from the following:

Victor. Standing tall with a large greataxe, the goblin veteran has advantage on all melee attack rolls while at least two enemy creatures are within 5 feet.

Dueler. Wielding a longsword with one hand, if the goblin veteran attacks the same target two turns in a row, they can use a bonus action to attempt to disarm their opponent. The veteran forces the target to make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the target’s weapon, if they are holding one, is thrown 10 feet behind the target.

Defender. The defender goblin veteran wields a shield in one hand and a shortsword in the other, giving them +2 to their Armor Class. The goblin veteran can bash an adjacent enemy with their shield as a bonus action when they take the attack action. When they do so, the target must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they are knocked prone. Doing this reduces the veteran’s Armor Class by 1 until the start of their next turn.

Maniac. The maniac goblin veteran dual wields two rusted handaxes. If they have used their full movement speed on a turn, they may use a bonus action to leap adjacent to a target within 10 feet. When they do so, they can make up to 4 melee weapon attacks against the target. After using this ability, all attacks against the maniac goblin veteran have advantage until the beginning of the veteran’s next turn.

Crackshot. Wielding a powerful longbow, the crackshot goblin veteran rarely misses. If the crackshot goblin veteran misses a ranged weapon attack, they can use a bonus action to roll a d4 and add it to the attack roll. The crackshot’s critical hits are also more deadly. When critically hitting a creature with a ranged weapon attack, the arrow pierces through the target and continues for 15 feet in a straight line. The veteran makes an attack roll against any creatures in the line.

Action Surge (1/Day). The goblin veteran can take one additional Action on their turn.

Actions

Multiattack. The goblin veteran makes two attacks with their preferred weapon.

Greataxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d12+4) slashing damage.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) slashing damage.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6+4) piercing damage.

Handaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6+4) slashing damage.

Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8+4) piercing damage.

Killin’ For A Livin’ (Recharge 6). On their next turn, whenever the veteran deals damage, it is doubled.

Reactions

Never Been Done In Yet (1/Day). If the veteran would be reduced to 0 HP, they can instead remain at 1 HP, Disengage, and move 30 feet.
