False Appearance. While the goblin treant remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal tree.

Nimble Giant. The goblin treant can take the Disengage or Dodge action as a bonus action on each of its turns. The goblin treant cannot use this trait to take the Dodge action as a bonus action if it is taking the Attack action on the same turn.

Overgrowth. If the goblin treant didn’t take damage last turn, roll one of its hit die (d12). It heals for half of the number rolled + its Constitution modifier.

Siege Monster. The goblin treant deals double damage to objects and structures.

A Thousand Years of Patience. If the goblin treant uses a slam attack from hiding, it automatically hits with the first attack on its turn.

Cursed Thing of the Woods. When the goblin treant dies, it melts away, leaving behind a pool of acid where it was killed that has a 15 foot radius. Any time a creature steps into the pool of acid or starts their turn in the pool of acid, the creature takes 2d6 acid damage. The pool of acid lasts for 1 day before it seeps into the earth.

Actions

Multiattack. The goblin treant makes two slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d6+6) bludgeoning damage.

Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, range 60/180 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d10+6) bludgeoning damage.

Animate Trees (1/Day). The goblin treant magically animates one or two trees it can see within 60 feet of it. These trees have the same statistics and traits as a goblin treant, except they have Intelligence and Charisma scores of 1, they can’t speak, and they have only the Slam action option. An animated tree acts as an ally of the goblin treant. The tree remains animate for 1 day or until it dies; until the goblin treant dies or is more than 120 feet from the tree; or until the goblin treant takes a bonus action to turn it back into an inanimate tree. The tree then takes root if possible.
