Nimble Escape. The goblin thief can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of their turns.

Sneaky. The goblin thief can try to hide when they are lightly obscured from the creature from which they are hiding.

Kleptomania. The goblin thief will choose a target as their mark. They will leave messages in Thieves’ Cant in the surrounding area that warn other thieves not to touch the target. Whenever given the opportunity (usually while the target is sleeping), the thief will attempt to steal an item from the target. The goblin thief will continue to steal from their target until they have nothing more of any value, and won’t be deterred from stealing in the future if caught.

Distraction… With a Dagger. When the goblin thief hits a creature with a melee weapon attack, they can use their bonus action to make a Sleight of Hand against the target’s passive Perception, stealing 3d4 gold from them on a success. If a target has no gold or runs out, the goblin thief will attempt to flee combat.

Danger Sense. The goblin thief has advantage on Dexterity saving throws against effects that they can see, such as traps and spells as long as they aren’t blinded, deafened, or incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack. The goblin thief makes three attacks with their dagger or one with their goblin hand crossbow.

Dagger. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4+4) piercing damage.

Goblin Hand Crossbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/90 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (2d2+4) piercing damage plus 2 (1d4) poison damage.

Reactions

Don’t Turn Your Back. When a target moves out of the thief’s reach, the thief steals 3d6 gold from them. If they have no gold, they instead steal a random item from their inventory that can be held in one hand and is not being held by the target.
