Nimble Escape. The goblin mimic can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of its turns.

Shapechanger. The goblin mimic can use its action to polymorph into an object or back into its true, goblinoid amorphous form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn’t transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Adhesive (Object Form Only). The mimic adheres to anything that touches it. A Huge or smaller creature adhered to the mimic is also grappled by it (escape DC 12). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.

False Appearance (Object Form Only). While the goblin mimic remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary object.

Grappler. The mimic has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.

Actions

Mishapen Limb. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8+2) bludgeoning damage. If the mimic is in object form, the target is subjected to its Adhesive trait.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (2d6+2) piercing damage.

Reactions

Hide! Hide! (1/Day). When the goblin mimic takes damage from a ranged attack and there are no other enemies within 30 feet of it, the mimic disappears and leaves a puff of heavily obscuring smoke in the space where it just was. It appears in another random place within 30 feet of its previous location, in object form. The heavily obscuring smoke lasts for 1 round.
